Welcome to Helping Hands Tutors
Helping Hands Tutors provides private tutoring services and other programs for children with a variety of special needs and disabilities in Toronto and York Region. Tutoring is available in all subject areas. Our Tutors are Ontario Certified Teachers with Special Education qualifications who connect with children. Lessons are based on Ontario curriculum expectations and best practices in education.
We have built professional relationships with complimentary pediatric therapy service providers in the community, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech-Language Pathologists.
This provides our Tutors with the unique opportunity to work with students receiving different types of therapy, as well as access to consultation and recommendations when needed. This deeper understanding of learning difficulties and effective learning strategies results in a smooth transition from therapy to academics.
